1900 May, British occupy Schweizer-Reneke during Anglo-Boer War.
September, her father Samuel Stern and his brother, Leopold arrested.
The Sterns leave for Cape Town.
1901Travel on Kinfauns Castle, stay in Germany
1902Return to South Africa and settle in Wolmaransstad
1903Return to Schweizer-Reneke
1904Travel to Europe via Zanzibar, Naples and Rome, settle in Berlin
1909Return to South Africa on the Kenilworth Castle with Johannes Prinz, tutor. Settle in Wolmaransstad.
